The Tidewater Chapter young CPA's are members of age 35 or younger who come together to provide an increase in awareness and enhancement of the profession.

Goals and Objectives
The Young CPA Goals and Objectives are to provide increased awareness and enhance the VSCPA and TSVSCPA through focused efforts and assist the Tidewater Chapter Board in organizing Young CPA events. They strive to provide networking opportunities and fun activities to young professionals through Young CPA events. They also work to provide a forum where issues affecting the State and Local Chapter as well as the profession and the future of CPA's can be openly discussed.
Young CPA Committee
The Young CPA's consists of a committee that reports to the Tidewater Chapter Board. Committee members must be 35 or younger, a VSCPA and TCVSCPA member. It will be made up of 6-8 members and designate a chair and secretary to serve 1 year terms. The members may serve on the committee for 4 years. Current committee members are:

- Networking Socials
- Bowling
- Charity Volunteer
- Presentations at Universities and Colleges in the Hampton Roads Areas
- Student Night - where students move through roundtable discussions with professionals from public accounting, private industry, government and education
